Hard hats and hi-vis jackets for Halwin School pupils’ on trip to building site



A GROUP of year six children from Halwin School enjoyed a slightly unusual trip to a Coastline Housing development site at Rame Cross, near Penryn.
The visit, hosted by builders 3MS Construction, was designed to give the children an overview of how, and why, new homes are built for local communities. After donning some hard hats and hi-vis vests for a tour of the construction site and a talk from site manager Neil Purdy about the building process, they then had a discussion with Coastline’s Karen Goldup and Liz Bracelin about how and why housing schemes are developed.
